Theory of Operation

When the PTO generator begins producing voltage the PTO Power Monitor will first go through its LED startup test.  This consists of the entire display turning on then off then each of the 5 HZ LED’s sequence on then off from left to right.  After this the voltage and kW will be displayed and after a second the frequency will be displayed.  If the input voltage is low (below ~65V) the display will turn off.
